MX5 NA/NB Main Engine Studs (New) (Aftermarket)

ARP Main studs are the go-to method of preventing main caps from walking and fretting, keeping the crank securely in place. Made from 8740 chromoly steel, they are re-usable and offer industry-leading strength. ARP Main studs are a truly worthwhile upgrade if you are building an engine to take ~14psi+.

Installation requires a 12mm 12pt socket & 4mm Allen key

Technical Notes

Oil clearance specifications must be verified with these installed and torqued.

If the spec is too tight, line hone the journals to suit the installed studs and / or use STDX size bearings to correct for the oil clearance you are targeting.
